Boxing Glove Size Chart and Ounce Guide
Ounces describe glove weight, not the size of the hand compartment. A useful sizing decision combines training purpose, gym rules, hand measurements, wrist range and the wraps you normally wear.
Separate glove weight from internal fit.

The aim is not to make the glove as tight as possible. It is to find stable contact without numbness, empty movement or a forced fist.

Slide the hand in without forcing the thumb or folding the lining
The fingertips should reach their intended position without being crushed or leaving a large empty pocket.

The glove should not pull the thumb, flatten the knuckles away from the padding center or require unusual effort just to make a fist.
Tighten the closure through its usable range

One 10 oz glove may have a compact competition-style compartment; another may have a roomier training shape.
